A Zenith Claim Representative or Field Adjuster will be assigned, depending on the claim severity, to handle the claim. They will contact you to obtain full particulars of the loss. |

When your loss includes damage to your home, you must obtain an estimate from a contractor. |

Once the adjuster has reviewed the contractor's proposal and verified the loss is covered under your policy, you will be contacted to arrange a date for the repairs.

You may also elect to participate in our Direct Repair Program, if there is one in your area. Under this program, a contractor will arrange to inspect any damages and, with your authorization, can begin repairs immediately or at your earliest convenience. |

If the damage is severe, you may arrange emergency temporary repairs to protect your property. |

What if I want to use my own contractor? |

You may obtain a competitive quote. If you prefer a repairer of choice, please speak to our adjuster for further details. We will pay your repairer based on our contractor's price. |

Your adjuster will investigate the claim circumstances, evaluate your loss and
discuss settlement with you. The length of time it takes to conclude a claim may differ depending on the claim circumstances and severity. |
